Key Outline:
🟦 Week 1: First Time Coding!
We learn what coding is and start using ScratchJr. Students learn how to open the app and make characters move using blocks.
🎨 Week 2: Pictures and Characters
We change backgrounds, choose fun characters, and learn what different blocks do.
🚶 Week 3: Moving Around
We use motion blocks to help characters walk, jump, and turn.
🧠 Week 4: More Actions & Thinking
We add more actions and learn simple logic—what happens first and what happens next.
🐞 Week 5: Fixing Mistakes
We learn that mistakes are okay! Students practice debugging, which means fixing their code when something doesn’t work.
