For the Spring 2026, Coach Troy (American Amateur 7‑dan) will offer 6 different levels of Go courses at the Austin Great Wall Chinese School. L5 — Pre-Dan Class (Online) Students study higher-level fighting techniques and the major joseki variations for hoshi and komoku. The emphasis is gaining advantage in local battles and choosing appropriate direction of play in the opening. Practice uses 101weiqi and Fox Go. Strong ability to memorize complex shapes and understand complicated variations is required. L5 冲段班（线上）继续学习更高难度的战斗技巧，以及星位和小目各个方向上的主要定式，从而在局部战斗中取得优势，在布局阶段选择合适的方向。课下练习使用101围棋网和野狐围棋对弈平台。参加冲段班的同学，需要具有较强的复杂棋形记忆能力，和复杂变化理解能力。
