Teacher Bio



Claire Deng(邓茜雅)是奥斯汀Westwood 十二年级学生。她自从五岁在长城学习中文时，有幸观看了中国舞蹈的演出，在学习了十二年的中国民族和古典舞蹈，并通过选拔进入了Westwood高中舞蹈队(2022-2023)。自九岁起开始参加全美各种舞蹈比赛，陆陆续续获得了众多奖项，比如：8 National 所有舞种第二名，Starbound Nationals获得了所有舞种第七名和Judges Award Dynamic Dancer。Talent on Parade 集体舞第一名，小组合舞蹈第二名，Dance Showcase 民族舞独舞第二名等。邓茜雅有丰富教学和组织经验，带领长城舞蹈班参加各种社区演出包括Westbank Library春节演出。邓茜雅在长城和中国舞蹈结缘，希望能把自己所学回报社区，让更多的孩子们了解博大精深的中华舞蹈文化。
